ACADEMIA MEETS BUSINESS - Thomas Kübler presents "Technologies for sustainable energy supply."

How can energy efficiency, climate protection and economic success be combined? In his lecture in the series #AcademiaMeetsBusiness Thomas Kübler, Managing Director of KÜBLER GmbH Energiesparende Hallenheizungen, will show how technological innovations can revolutionize industrial heat supply. The lecture is part of TransforMA, an interdisciplinary joint project of the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences and the University of Mannheim for the design of transformation processes. It offers a practice-oriented format that provides students and interested parties with insights into business topics and valuable career contacts every Wednesday with presentations by top-class speakers.

The Ludwigshafen-based company KÜBLER has implemented more than 20,000 heating projects since 1989 and today, with its energy-flexible infrared heating systems, is demonstrating unique solutions for effectively and economically mastering the transformation path to decarbonization for commercial and industrial companies. Thomas Kübler addressed the special heating features of hall buildings as well as questions about the future importance of hydrogen (high) or whether heat pumps or infrared are the more cost-effective solution in residential buildings (infrared in KfW40 houses is very interesting). The political insights that the entrepreneur had gained from the discussions as part of his educational work in Berlin were also particularly exciting for the auditorium. "One of the most interesting presentations so far with a great practical relevance. If Thomas Kübler comes back, I'll be there," was the feedback from one student after an entertaining one and a half hour lecture and discussion.
