Innovations for Sustainability - Business Day of Innovations, Berlin.
"We need flexibility in the system instead of rigid guidelines," emphasized Dr. Klaus Wiener, Member of the Bundestag (CDU/CSU) at the "Business Day of Innovation" in Berlin. Together with Thomas Kübler (KÜBLER GmbH), Prof. Dr. Frank Riemenschneider-Greif (LUCRESTA) and Frank Scheidig (DZ Bank), he cast a spotlight on the innovation climate in Germany and what the location actually needs in the "Innovations for Sustainability" forum. Moderated by Jens Henning Fischer, Thomas Kübler presented his company's latest development for sustainable, energy-flexible hall heating - a system made for the energy transition that enables commercial and industrial companies to take the entire path of transformation from today to beyond 2045 very easily, flexibly and economically.
"The Business Day of Innovation" was held under the motto "Focus on the future: Setting the course for an innovative and strong Germany". Organized by the German Economic Council and featuring high-ranking speakers, the comprehensive programme on 6 November 2024 at the AXICA Congress & Conference Centre was dedicated to key topics such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, high-performance digital infrastructures, mobility technologies, the future of trade, innovations for sustainability, cyber security and the role of start-ups as drivers of innovation. The day provided an important opportunity to discuss the current major challenges of our time and also to address the implications of the latest global political event, the outcome of the US presidential election, for Germany and Europe. After all, in times of profound geopolitical and economic upheaval, the importance of innovation as the key to our economic growth and prosperity in Germany is becoming ever clearer, according to the Economic Council.
