We congratulate our long-standing research partner on the senior professorship at Mannheim University of Applied Sciences!
We have enjoyed a close research partnership for around 15 years, says Thomas Kübler. Not least groundbreaking innovations such as the energy-flexible infrared hall heating system with integrated LED lighting FUTURA were developed in close cooperation and successfully launched on the market. We would now like to congratulate our long-standing research partner and head of the CeMOS - Research and Transfer Center, Prof. Dr. Matthias Rädle, on receiving a special award:
For the first time in the history of Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, the senior professorship has been awarded. Congratulations, dear Matthias! From our point of view, the recognition is well deserved and could not have been better!
On September 17, Mannheim University of Applied Sciences wrote the following about Prof. Dr. Matthias Rädle's remarkable CV: "His impressive career began after 13 years at BASF in 2001, when he decided to bring his knowledge and passion to Mannheim University of Applied Sciences. It quickly became clear that his vision went far beyond teaching: together with his team, he has made the Institute of Process Measurement Technology and Innovative Energy Systems (PI) the strongest research institute at German universities of applied sciences.
In 2017, his commitment reached another high point: the CeMOS research and transfer center was founded. Today, CeMOS is the largest research facility at universities in Baden-Württemberg. Around 70 scientific employees are dedicated to research and development here.
Even in his well-deserved retirement, Prof. Dr. Rädle will remain associated with the university as its first senior professor. He will continue to drive research forward and place the legacy of his team in the hands of up-and-coming research groups."
