New but unused items from cupboards and cellars find a new use as prizes - from pins to thrillers or vases. Even the raffle ticket sales are eagerly awaited, as the company donates an attractive main prize every year. At Christmas 2024, this was a much sought-after smartphone. Everyone from the trainees to the management team diligently bought raffle tickets - raising around 500 euros.<\/p>\n
Christina Kunde was delighted with this amount when she came to the K\u00dcBLER headquarters in Ludwigshafen on January 28 to hand over the donation. She is one of the three project coordinators of the ASB Wish Wagon Rhineland-Palatinate. Lena Zubrod, Jil K\u00fcbler and Lena M\u00fcnch from K\u00dcBLER eagerly listened to the reports from the ASB Samaritan's everyday life and learned many new things.<\/p>\n
\"Der W\u00fcnschewagen - Letzte W\u00fcnsche wagen\" is a Germany-wide initiative. In Rhineland-Palatinate, seriously ill people of all ages have been able to fulfill their last wish since 2017. From very small ones such as \"Just one more day at home\" to a visit to a musical in Hamburg or a short trip to the seaside. Even the almost impossible is made possible. \"It's about the self-determination of those affected at the end of life,\" says Christina Kunde. This is made possible thanks to the many people from the care professions and emergency services who offer their help as volunteer wish fulfillers. And also thanks to donations such as those from K\u00dcBLER. This is because the ASB Wish Wagon Rhineland-Palatinate is 100% funded by donations, and ASB is also committed to this. 69 wishes were granted last year. \"But we are the most touched and most rewarded when we are able to fulfill a wish,\" says Christina Kunde.
