FAZ Supplement - Infrared technology for warehouses and production halls.

There are hundreds of thousands of indoor buildings in Germany that consume enormous amounts of energy every day - often inefficiently and expensively.

Many of them are equipped with outdated heating systems, and even new buildings often rely on standard solutions that are not state of the art for cost reasons. Especially in times of rising energy costs and stricter climate protection requirements, this is becoming an increasing problem for many companies.

Halls with large room heights in particular place special demands on the heating technology. Conventional hot water heating systems usually work inefficiently in such buildings: the heat builds up under the ceiling, escapes when large doors are opened and can hardly be controlled in a targeted or digital manner. Heating accounts for around 70 % of the energy consumption of a typical industrial building - an enormous factor when it comes to cost-effectiveness and climate protection.
An article in the FAZ special supplement "Climate protection and energy transition" shows how modern technologies are creating new prospects in this area. Infrared heating systems in particular offer solutions that not only work more efficiently and flexibly, but also offer the possibility of using different energy sources - such as your own PV electricity, grid electricity or, in the future, hydrogen. Heating systems are thus gaining strategic importance in the overall concept of energy-optimized operations management.

The message is clear: those who heat their halls intelligently not only reduce running costs, but also make an important contribution to the energy transition.
