IR hall heating systems are central to energy consulting for industrial facilities.

Only around two percent of all buildings in Germany are hall buildings. Is it any wonder that there are not many energy consultants with expertise and experience when it comes to equipping these building giants with the right hall heating in an ecologically and economically sensible way?

Martin Welther is one of them. The certified energy efficiency expert, energy auditor and managing director of i3-energy is familiar with the special requirements of heating systems for halls with room heights of 10, 15, 20 or more meters and knows that modern infrared hall heating systems in industrial and commercial facilities are hard to avoid. The natural heating principle of the sun meets the heating challenges of these buildings too well, which incidentally are highly relevant for a successful energy transition, accounting for around 15 percent of total building energy consumption in our country.

The experienced energy consultant has been working with KÜBLER, the technology leader for highly efficient infrared hall heating systems, for many years. During his visit to the world's leading trade fair ISH, we asked him about the right heating system for halls.
