No more politics from the ivory tower!

What do you want from the new government? Entrepreneur Thomas Kübler had a clear answer to this question from Kerstin Raclet, Regional Managing Director of the Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland regional associations of the CDU Economic Council:

"Anyone who, like me, has spent three years door-to-door at all political levels in order to bring technical expertise to the Heating Act after all, wants one thing above all else:
I don't want any more politicians who make laws from their ivory towers and believe they can override the laws of nature."
The parliamentary evenings of the state associations of the Economic Council of the CDU took place on Monday as part of the Economy Day 2025. The Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland state associations had invited guests to the state representation in Berlin. The guests were welcomed by Britta Lenz, Permanent Representative of the Plenipotentiary to the Federal Government, for Europe and for the Media at the State Representation. The two MPs - Johannes Steiniger (Chairman of the CDU Rhineland-Palatinate regional group in the Bundestag) and Roland Theis (Chairman of the CDU Saarland regional group in the Bundestag) gave an assessment of the current situation. In addition to the managing partner of KÜBLER GmbH Thomas Kübler, Prof. Dr. Julia Knopf, Didactic Innovations GmbH, Johannes Hauck, Hager Group and Gordon Schnieder MdL, CDU state association Rhineland-Palatinate, were also on the podium in the entrepreneur talk. Astrid Hamker, President of the Economic Council of the CDU e.V., personally honored the section of the year. This was followed by a lively exchange of ideas in a great atmosphere, to which the famously good Palatinate cuisine and selected wines certainly contributed.
