Katharina Reiche, the new Economics Minister, and Jens Spahn, Chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, were two political heavyweights on the podium at the fully booked Economics Day in Berlin, which kicked off in 2925 under the motto "A change of course for Germany - a return to the social market economy". The President of the Economic Council of the CDU received minutes of applause for this title alone.
The two politicians are known for their clear words and did not hold back in their keynote speeches. "Problems made in Germany can be solved with solutions made in Germany." And: "We are getting Germany back on track."

Just like the "green conscience" of the CDU, Andreas Jung, who named specific measures to reduce energy prices in the panel on energy, bureaucracy and competitive conditions and named technological openness in CO₂ reduction as goals - two points that KÜBLER had already demanded from the traffic light and with which the deputy federal chairman of the CDU pushed open doors for the innovation leader for climate-friendly hall heating.
