Best of Mittelstand 2025 -KÜBLER energy-saving hall heating systems reach jury stage at the "Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Enterprises"

July 10, 2024
Four people receive award at business event.
The "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" is probably the most important award for small and medium-sized companies in Germany. KÜBLER already received the prestigious award in 2008. In the 30th year of the competition, the innovative hall heating specialist from Ludwigshafen is aiming for the final stage in the "competition of the best": the Premier. Together with other companies, KÜBLER was presented with the certificate for reaching the jury stage at a festive event.

"Securing the future together" is the motto of the 2024 "SME Grand Prix" competition. It couldn't be more fitting, as this is exactly what SMEs are all about: Securing the future - across generations. This is demonstrated by the 451 companies that reached the jury stage for the various award categories this year: SME Grand Prix, Finalist, Bronze Plaque of Honor, Premier Finalist, Premier and Premier Plaque of Honor. Separate awards are also presented to municipalities and banks of the year.

"For us at KÜBLER, securing the future means looking to the future with optimism, even in difficult economic times, and developing the products that will be needed in the future," says Thomas Kübler, Managing Partner of KÜBLER GmbH. The use of artificial intelligence is just one of many examples.

The company has been working for the energy revolution since 1989 and develops energy-saving and highly innovative heating systems for halls - a building segment that is energy-intensive and where KÜBLER's technologies are particularly effective. They save up to 70 percent of energy consumption and avoid corresponding amounts of CO2-emissions.

A real win-win situation for the economic efficiency of heating and for climate protection. Especially as the latest developments can be operated flexibly with renewable energy sources.

In order to secure the future for the company, its employees, society and the environment, other issues are also important at KÜBLER. Above all, job security, employee retention and the issue of company succession and safeguarding.

Every year, the "Großer Preis des Mittelstandes" honors the overall entrepreneurial achievements of medium-sized and often family-run companies. This year, the prestigious award is being presented for the 30th time by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation and is awarded at ceremonial gala balls at regional and national level. The presentation of the certificate for reaching the jury stage of the "Grand Prix of the Mittelstand" - the second stage of the competition - took place regionally at the LIEBLANG Group in Friedrichsfeld. The event was organized by br business relations GmbH, the official service point of the Oskar Patzelt Foundation.

  • Ludwigshafen, August 2020 | Decentralized infrared radiant heating systems are the technology of choice in tall buildings with ceiling heights of over 4 meters. Here, they are often functionally superior to alternative heating systems. Their efficiency is so high that they have been able to exceed climate protection requirements for years, even without the integration of renewable energies. They also offer clear advantages in terms of investment costs, as studies have shown. With the entry into force of the GEG, high-efficiency technologies such as decentralized infrared heating systems are finally finding their way into legislation.
