Sports facility refurbishment - now with up to 50 % funding from the federal states

One of the biggest components of traditional clubs is the heating system in the halls. Why? Because they come under pressure from two directions: On the one hand, due to the far too high consumption costs of old heating systems, and on the other, due to the climate protection requirements that legislators place on heating systems. However, the renovation of old heating systems often appears to be a major construction site that is also too costly. It is postponed year after year.
"We receive a total of up to 40 % subsidies and effectively heat where the heat needs to go."
E. Katschke, ESV Ingolstadt-Ringsee e.V.
Yet the timing for heating renovation has rarely been so favorable. Clubs not only benefit from the sports facility subsidy, they also significantly reduce their energy consumption by using modern infrared hall heating solutions. This is because highly efficient heating is only used when the hall or individual pitches are in use. This pays off in many respects:
- Clubs benefit sustainably from low energy costs (savings of 40-70 percent)
- Entsprechend reduzieren sie die CO₂-Emissionen und leisten einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Energiewende
- They meet the statutory climate protection requirements
Weitere Informationen finden Sie unverbindlich here.
* The funding rate may vary depending on the federal state if the hall operator is a club, association or local authority. The funding programs of the respective federal states apply. Please also refer to the relevant information here.

55 percent less CO₂ emissions by 2030, 80 to 95 percent by 2050 - these are the German government's targets for the building sector. In addition to residential and office buildings, there is also a great need for industrial buildings (production halls, etc.). In this area, the heating systems from the Ludwigshafen-based infrared specialist KÜBLER already meet the requirements of the next decade. A joint research project between KÜBLER and the Technical University of Kaiserslautern entitled InfraEff now promises the decisive innovative step on the 2050 stage. Supported and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research - BMBF. The cooperation partners met in Ludwigshafen on March 13 to kick off the project.
