ECONOMIC FORUM "If you don't invest today, you won't be around tomorrow."

At the latest business forum INNOVATE & INVEST IN THE AGE OF AI, experts from politics and business discussed the opportunities and risks of AI investments. At the premises of Ludwigshafen-based hall heating specialist KÜBLER, the focus was on the questions of whether investments are worthwhile in times of crisis, how they can be financed and what political framework conditions are necessary. Leading minds such as Prof. Dr. Oliver Thomas and Thomas Kübler emphasized the importance of innovation for Germany as a business location. Kübler said: "If you don't invest today, you won't be around tomorrow." Prof. Thomas demanded:

"We don't need more Made in Germany, we need more Applied in Germany. The question of why the big AI models come from the USA or China is leading us in the wrong direction. Instead of dreaming after Silicon Valley, we should ensure that artificial intelligence arrives where it creates real added value - in German SMEs. Therein lies our opportunity."

The forum offered insights into innovations, disruptions and political perspectives, with the energy transition and climate protection issues also playing a role.

The experts who shared their insights into the innovation of the century - artificial intelligence - at the well-attended event included

The speakers included the founder and CEO of KÜBLER GmbH, Thomas Kübler, and leading AI scientist and entrepreneur Prof. Dr. Oliver Thomas, as well as Prof. Dr. Rainer Völker, Scientific Director of IMI at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society; Frank Hüther, private investor and CEO of Abacus Alpha GmbH; and Ulli Sauer, CEO of Stadtsparkasse Vorderpfalz.

Carsten Simons, CEO of LivEye GmbH, shared his example of innovation versus disruption. Alexander Stöhr, Managing Director of Tool-Fuel Services GmbH, answered questions about HVO innovation in an interview. The political perspective was represented by Gordon Schnieder, Member of the State Parliament and State Chairman of the CDU Rhineland-Palatinate, and Jan Metzler, Member of the Bundestag. Finally, Jan Metzler and Julian Brunnmüller, MTS Knobloch GmbH and state chairman of the Rhineland-Palatinate Young Business Council, sum up the day.

An exciting business forum with highly relevant impulses, interviews and discussions, to which the Economic Council of Germany, Rhineland-Palatinate regional association, had invited KÜBLER. Many thanks to Kerstin Raclet, Managing Director of the Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland Economic Council, and her team for the great organization!
