Heating halls energy self-sufficiently? With hydrogen!
What to do with the surplus PV power yield in summer?
One of the most exciting answers to this question not only saves a lot of costs for the expensive grid-dependent energy supply, it is a further step towards energy self-sufficiency in times of the heat transition.
The PV summer belly is used for the decentralized production of H₂, which is stored and used to heat the hall in winter without conversion losses. This allows CO₂-free heat to be provided even when the sun is not shining. Quite simple, really.
