What types of hall heating systems are available?
There are basically two different approaches to hall heating:
Systems that heat the air (e.g., warm air heating systems with or without heat pumps) and radiant heat such as infrared. Types include gas infrared dark radiators (proven and efficient), electric infrared heaters (ideal with PV electricity), H2-ready systems (for hydrogen), and hybrid systems such as Fair.AIdH from KÜBLER, which can use several energy sources at once. Warm air heating systems are usually less efficient in high halls, as warm air rises to the ceiling where it is not needed. From a height of approx. 4 m, infrared hall heating systems are usually the best choice due to their ideal heat transfer principle.
