FUTURA wins the German Innovation Award!
"We are incredibly pleased about this and are naturally also a little proud of our new development, which makes the heat turnaround in industrial and commercial operations economically feasible," says Thomas Kübler, Managing Director of the hall heating specialist in Ludwigshafen.
The high-calibre jury thus honored the particular originality, implementation and effectiveness of the new hall heating system, which can simultaneously use electricity, hydrogen and (biogenic) gases and also integrates the hall lighting. With this development, KÜBLER is breaking new, innovative ground and offering a solution that benefits both the users - hall operators in trade and industry - and the environment through its added value. FUTURA offers the economy a highly functional and affordable transformation path to a CO₂-free era.
"Year after year, the German Innovation Award shows that Germany knows how to successfully defend its reputation as a location for innovation. It makes the innovative strength of German SMEs visible across the board and shows how flexibly and quickly even smaller players are able to adapt to the rapidly changing requirements of the market, politics and global influencing factors," says Lutz Dietzold, Managing Director of the German Design Council, about the German Innovation Award.
The German Design Council has been operating as the world's leading competence center for communication and knowledge transfer in the fields of design, brand and innovation since 1953. It is part of the global design community with international offerings, support for young talent and memberships and has always helped to establish exchange and networks worldwide. Through events, congresses, competitions, jury meetings and expert groups, the German Design Council connects its members and numerous other international design and brand experts, promotes discourse and provides important impetus for the global economy. Its members currently include more than 350 companies.

The traditional Grün-Weiss Mannheim club is one of the largest tennis clubs in Baden. The club has two of its own tennis halls and thus offers continuous training opportunities for the players. 55 percent less CO₂ emissions by 2030, 80 to 95 percent by 2050 - these are the German government's targets for the building sector. In addition to residential and office buildings, there is also a great need for industrial buildings (production halls, etc.). In this area, the heating systems from the Ludwigshafen-based infrared specialist KÜBLER already meet the requirements of the next decade. A joint research project between KÜBLER and the Technical University of Kaiserslautern entitled InfraEff now promises the decisive innovative step on the 2050 stage. Supported and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research - BMBF. The cooperation partners met in Ludwigshafen on March 13 to kick off the project.

"I came to understand the technology," says Carina Konrad as Thomas Kübler begins his presentation and apologizes for the perhaps somewhat dry subject matter. There was a good reason why the deputy state chairwoman of the FDP in Rhineland-Palatinate and deputy chairwoman of the FDP parliamentary group made the trip to Ludwigshafen: "KÜBLER shows how [...]
