KÜBLER employees donate for a good cause

In keeping with the motto "Doing good in a sustainable way", the raffle is traditionally one of the highlights of the KÜBLER Christmas party. New but unused items from cupboards and cellars find a new use as prizes - from pins to thrillers or vases. Even the raffle ticket sales are eagerly awaited, as the company donates an attractive main prize every year. At Christmas 2024, this was a much sought-after smartphone. Everyone from the trainees to the management team diligently bought raffle tickets - raising around 500 euros.
Christina Kunde was delighted with this amount when she came to the KÜBLER headquarters in Ludwigshafen on January 28 to hand over the donation. She is one of the three project coordinators of the ASB Wish Wagon Rhineland-Palatinate. Lena Zubrod, Jil Kübler and Lena Münch from KÜBLER eagerly listened to the reports from the ASB Samaritan's everyday life and learned many new things.
"Der Wünschewagen - Letzte Wünsche wagen" is a Germany-wide initiative. In Rhineland-Palatinate, seriously ill people of all ages have been able to fulfill their last wish since 2017. From very small ones such as "Just one more day at home" to a visit to a musical in Hamburg or a short trip to the seaside. Even the almost impossible is made possible. "It's about the self-determination of those affected at the end of life," says Christina Kunde. This is made possible thanks to the many people from the care professions and emergency services who offer their help as volunteer wish fulfillers. And also thanks to donations such as those from KÜBLER. This is because the ASB Wish Wagon Rhineland-Palatinate is 100% funded by donations, and ASB is also committed to this. 69 wishes were granted last year. "But we are the most touched and most rewarded when we are able to fulfill a wish," says Christina Kunde. And you can tell how much heart and soul goes into the ASB Wish Wagon.

55 percent less CO2 emissions by 2030, 80 to 95 percent by 2050 - these are the German government's targets for the building sector. In addition to residential and office buildings, there is also a great need for industrial buildings (production halls, etc.). In this area, the heating systems from the Ludwigshafen-based infrared specialist KÜBLER already meet the requirements of the next decade. A joint research project between KÜBLER and the Technical University of Kaiserslautern entitled InfraEff now promises the decisive innovative step on the 2050 stage. Supported and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research - BMBF. The cooperation partners met in Ludwigshafen on March 13 to kick off the project.

The old hall heating system consumes too much energy. And it is becoming increasingly unreliable. Good reasons to finally tackle heating modernization and replace the old system with a modern, energy-efficient one. But the expense seems high and is often shied away from. Yet today there are alternative solutions that can also be very interesting from an economic point of view.

"The best kilowatt hour is the one saved," says Thomas Kübler. The managing partner of KÜBLER GmbH Energiesparende Hallenheizungen is in good company. DENEFF also states* that too little is being invested, even though energy efficiency pays off, and quotes Lower Saxony's Energy Minister Olaf Lies with his plea for an energy policy based on the principle of "Efficiency First". Experts agree that if the 2030 climate targets are to be even remotely achieved, effective measures are needed quickly. The first priority is to reduce energy consumption. The solution to this can be found in the industrial sector with specially developed hall heating systems from KÜBLER. They combine enormous savings potential with a short ROI.
