KÜBLER nominated as premier at the „Grand Prix of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises“ 2026
„Anyone who is nominated for the ‘Großer Preis des Mittelstandes’ belongs to the elite of German SMEs. This nomination alone is already an award of the highest quality,“ emphasizes Barbara Stamm, President of the Bavarian State Parliament.
Outstanding achievements in five areas
In the competition, the KÜBLER company is evaluated in its entirety and its role within the company. The five decisive criteria are
- Overall development of the company
- Creating and securing jobs and apprenticeships
- Innovation and modernization
- Commitment to the environment and the region
- Service, customer proximity and marketing
Outstanding performance in all five areas is required for success. Failure to meet just one criterion may result in exclusion from further stages of the competition.
KÜBLER - pioneer for future-oriented hall heating systems in times of energy transition
For 37 years, KÜBLER GmbH from Ludwigshafen has been a pioneer in the development of energy-efficient heating systems for indoor buildings and has established itself as a market leader with a clear focus on sustainability and energy saving. With its products, KÜBLER helps companies in industry, logistics, trade and sport to reduce energy costs and make a significant contribution to climate protection. The new Fair.AIdH technology was developed for the energy transition. Heating lines such as the 6-fold award-winning FUTURA, FUTURA E or ELEXTRA provide a unique answer for the economic decarbonization of industrial and logistics halls.
Another award after 2008, 2013 and 2024
With the 2026 nomination, KÜBLER reaches another significant milestone. In 2008, the company was awarded the „Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“ in the Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland region and received the plaque of honor at the national level in 2013. In 2024, KÜBLER was honored as a „Premier Finalist“, making it one of the few companies to make it into the top five out of over 4,600 nominees. This year, KÜBLER is now aiming for the highest award: the „Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“.
The network of the best
Being nominated for the „Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“ opens the door to the exclusive „network of the best“. Unlike many other business awards, the competition not only evaluates figures, innovations or jobs, but also the company as a whole and its complex role in society. The nomination is therefore more than just an award - it is a mark of excellence.
About the competition
The „Großer Preis des Mittelstandes“ has been awarded annually by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation since 1994. Since then, more than 22,000 companies have been nominated, employing a total of over three million people. As the most coveted business award in Germany, the prize is organized entirely on a voluntary basis and privately financed. The competition is subject to DIN ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management.

The building stock is often still equipped with inefficient and [...]

Basically, it's quite simple: if it weren't for the new Heating Act (GEG 2024) and if the amendment had been less ideological and more technically sound, the heat pump debate would have remained where it belongs: in buildings suitable for this technology. But now, even industrial buildings are grappling with a technology that has its […]
