Research seal "Innovative through research" for KÜBLER
For more than 30 years, KÜBLER has been one of the pioneers of energy-saving hall heating systems. With energy savings of up to 70 % and many other advantages, KÜBLER infrared heaters are considered the golden standard in hall buildings with high ceilings. The company regularly receives awards for its developments.
On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the well-known "Innovative through Research" seal is awarded every two years by the Stifterverband. As one of the largest private sponsors of science in Germany, one of its tasks is to examine and evaluate the German research and innovation system. How much does the economy invest in research and development in Germany? What impact does this have on the future viability of this country? These questions are the focus of the biennial survey on research and development in the German economy, which is carried out by the Stifterverband's science statistics department on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

It is only a small segment, but of great importance: in the current discussion about the energy transition, industrial buildings are being neglected. They only make up two percent of the building stock in Germany. However, they are responsible for around 15 percent of building-related energy consumption and the associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. In the current Building Energy Act (GEG), however, industrial buildings are treated in the same way as daycare centers - and there are indications in a draft bill that the federal government wants to focus exclusively on heat pumps as a technology. KÜBLER GmbH in Ludwigshafen invited experts to discuss this issue. Daniel Föst, construction policy spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group in the Bundestag, announced his intention to change the legislative system.

In comparison, fan heaters rely on the distribution of warm air. This method causes the air in the hall to rise, with the warmest areas being directly under the ceiling. It therefore takes significantly longer for the work area to warm up, which leads to higher energy consumption. This difference makes infrared heating systems particularly energy-efficient, […]

When production is running in the run-up to Christmas, nobody has time for heating control. The main thing is that it is nice and warm in the hall. Once set, the heating runs for the specified operating times.
