Infrared heating: the key to affordable building and living

Infrared technology is no longer just the efficient solution for halls - it is also increasingly unfolding its full potential in residential construction.
At the IG Infrarot industry conference „Infrared heating: the key to affordable building and living“, it became clear that openness to technology is driving the energy transition forward.

In discussions with leading experts such as Lars Keussen (1st Chairman of IG Infrarot Deutschland GmbH, Thomas Kübler (KÜBLER GmbH, Ludwigshafen) and Attilay Ekici (Candor GmbH, Leipzig), it became clear that infrared is a serious and sustainable alternative in the heating market.

„A great and informative conference. Many thanks for that!“ said Thomas Kübler - also with regard to the practical examples presented.

These showed impressively that infrared heating systems can not only keep up with classic systems such as heat pumps in multi-storey buildings - they also offer clear advantages in operation thanks to their decentralized structure. From lower maintenance costs and high controllability to sustainable efficiency, they are convincing across the board.
„Simple, cost-efficient and maintenance-free building technology with infrared heaters leads to low energy costs in modern buildings due to the low heating requirement,“ says Lars Keussen.

The get-together between the industry, research and practice once again showed how great the potential of this technology is for affordable building and living.
