Congratulations GIH! - 25 years federal congress 2026
„Congratulations GIH!" Around 400 energy consultants, companies and political representatives came together in Berlin to celebrate the anniversary of Germany's leading association for independent energy consultants and to discuss current challenges and solutions for the energy transition.
With strong impetus from Federal Environment Minister Carsten Schneider, Corinna Enders (dena), Dr. Mandy Pastohr (BAFA) and Jule Bosch it became clear that the role of independent energy advice is becoming increasingly important. In addition, with Jens Acker from the BMWE, Jens Unger from KÜBLER Hallenheizungen in Ludwigshafen and Christine Kübler and Thomas Kübler strong driving force represented.
A special highlight: the expert contribution from Thomas Kübler (KÜBLER GmbH Energiesparende Hallenheizungen) on the subject of „The decarbonization of commercial and industrial buildings."
His central concern: Three things are needed for a successful energy transition:
- technological openness,
- Practical and economical solutions
- and sufficient space for individual advice.
The new GModG would create additional scope for design - combined with growing responsibility for tailor-made, economical and functional solutions.
After all, every measure must be measured against reality: Feasibility, affordability, infrastructure and actual use determine success - not regulation alone.
The strong growth of the GIH to around 5,500 members impressively demonstrates the importance of qualified energy consulting today.
We congratulate the Federal Chairman Stefan Bolln on behalf of the entire GIH to 25 years successful association work, representation of interests in politics and business and active promotion of climate protection!
👉 Conclusion: The energy transition can only succeed through the interplay of innovation, practical knowledge and a smart political framework.
